Established as a care home for the past three decades, Cwm Cartref is a 45-bed nursing and residential care home at the heart of the community of Neath and Port Talbot. All of our staff focus on caring for every resident as an individual. Great attention has been invested in the creation of a comfortable, modern environment which includes outstanding fine dining facilities, spacious communal lounges and relaxing, well-equipped bedrooms for all residents. The home is located approximately one mile from Pontardawe town centre, where there are many shops, restaurants, cafés, bars, and a leisure centre. Nearby, the Pontardawe Arts Centre incorporates a theatre, cinema and cultural space, ideal for socialising. Swansea is approximately seven miles north and Cwm Cartref is close to good link roads, with the M4 corridor only four miles away. There is a bus stop directly outside and a local bus service which provides travel to and from the home. A local taxi service is also available.
